Octavia graduated from WAAPA in 2001 with a BA in Music Theatre. Prior to WAAPA she appeared in the feature film Looking For Alibrandi and upon graduating, The Honourable Wally Norman.

Among her theatre credits: Vincent in Brixton, Losing Louis and Absurd Person Singular (Ensemble Theatre); Debbie Does Dallas The Musical (Three Amigos/Rockcity); Influence and Kittenbone Bridge (STC); Fiddler On The Roof (TML); The Hatpin (Whitebox/Gooding Productions); Little Women (Kookaburra); The 39 Steps (Angelfire/Tinderbox); The 2014/15 Australian tour of Les Misérables (Michael Cassel/Cam Mac); Julie Andrew’s My Fair Lady (OA/ GFO), Mrs Gloop in the Australian tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Musical (GFO), The Duchess in Nice Work If You Can Get It (Hayes Theatre), and Mrs Spofford in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Hayes Theatre).
