Shondelle is a graduate of the University of Western Sydney, Theatre Theory and Practice and studied acting with Ensemble Studios. She completed her Masters of Directing for Performance with the Victorian College of Arts.

As a movement director and choreographer, Shondelle was invited by Ita O’Brien, world leader in the pedagogy of Intimacy directing, to participate in intimacy directing training with Intimacy On Set in the UK.

As a performer, theatre maker and Intimacy Coordinator, Shondelle has worked extensively with numerous companies on national and international tours. These companies include: Force Majeure, Opera Australia, David Venn Productions, Ensemble Theatre, Pacific Opera, CDP, Monkey Baa Theatre Company, National Theatre of Parramatta, Griffin Theatre Company, Redline Productions, Mad March Hare, Squabbalogic, Dinosauraus Productions, Aquarius Films, Spark Youth Theatre Company, NIDA, Excelsia College and Ping Chong and Company in NewYork. She recently completed a 3-month directing residency in the UK with Bamboozle Theatre Company as part of the Mike Walsh Fellowship. Shondelle also teaches a series of workshops on consent in the rehearsal space for performers and creatives.
