SOPHIE PERKINS

A Graduate from Queensland Conservatorium’s Musical Theatre, Sophie Perkins is the true definition of a triple threat.

Sophie moved to Sydney upon graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium’s Musical Theatre program (BA) in 2015. Prior to moving, she had the pleasure of performing as a featured artist in QPAC’s annual Spirit of Christmas Concert (2015), and played the title role in Carrie the Musical in the Queensland Premiere (Wax Lyrical Productions/Brisbane Powerhouse, 2016), which awarded her 2 Matilda Award nominations.

Since moving, she has played Ivy Robinson in BARE the Musical (Supply Evolution, 2016/2017), Chorine/Dance Captain in Little Triangle’s The Wild Party (2018), Dam Dam in Melbourne’s Immersive Cabaret Experience Mad World (David Butler Studios, 2019), and Olga/Dance Captain in Little Triangle’s most recent production NINE.

Other credits include ANZ’s 2018 national campaign for Bladepay, playing Madeleine in John Field’s Who Loves Me? Musical trailer – alongside the likes of Emma Pask and Chloe Dallimore – as well as travelling to Gallipoli in 2012 to sing at both the Dawn and Lone Pine Services, as part of a select choir, and featured soloist.
