ZOE CRISP

A 2021 WAAPA graduate, Zoe Crisp is an enthusiastic and well rounded performer.

Originally from the sunny state of Perth, Zoe recently made the move to Melbourne where she currently resides.

She began performing around Perth at a young age, training across all genres of music theatre, and in 2013 she was accepted into John Curtin College of the Arts on a full musical theatre scholarship. Zoe Completed her Diploma of Musical theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (2018) and then her Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (2021).

While at WAAPA her most notable roles included The Bakers Wife in Into the Woods (dir. Nicole Stinton), Anna in Spring Awakening (dir.Crispin Taylor), Susie/ Polly Baker Understudy in Crazy For You (dir. Crispin Taylor), Kit Kat Dancer/Dance Captain in Cabaret (dir. Tamara Cook) and Tricia in A Chorus Line (dir.Crispin Taylor.)

Zoe has appeared in a handful of professional productions around Perth; most significantly understudying Scaramouche in Platinum Entertainment’s We Will Rock You at His Majesty’s Theatre (2018). She originated the role of Jane in Neylon and Peele’s The Beep Test in the 2020 Perth Fringe Festival; a production which was a finalist for the Martin Sims Fringe Award.

Most recently, Zoe performed as a Diva in Platinum Entertainment’s 2022 season of Priscilla Queen of the Desert! at Perth’s Regal Theatre.

Alongside her passion for performing, Zoe is a singing teacher at numerous venues around Melbourne, and adores sharing her passion with her students. Zoe is an enthusiastic and dedicated performer, and she is extremely excited to begin this new chapter of her life in Melbourne!
