Before founding Working Management in 2004, Wendy Richards spent 15 years in the international touring arena. Working both as an Agent in the UK and as Director of Tours for Michael Coppel Presents, one of Australia’s busiest Tour Promoters, touring artists such as Tina Turner, Celine Dion, Elvis Costello, U2, Green Day, Paul Simon, Destiny’s Child and Janet Jackson.

Over the last 15 years, Wendy has actively built close relationships within the international and domestic entertainment industries and commercial world alike to proactively seek out opportunities that enhance the profile, reputation and income opportunities for all of Working Management’s clients.

Wendy actively produces with all of her artists, listing successful shows and seasons in Australia, U.S.A, Asia, Europe and the U.K.

Wendy co-founded production company Showwork in 2015. Their first production, Heathers: The Musical (Australian Premiere and first time out of the US) saw record-breaking sales at Sydney’s Hayes Theatre, followed by an in demand Australian Tour and Sydney return season at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Joining forces with 2016 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, Showwork produced 3 nights of Cabaret, Comedy and Club with Rainbow Room at Sydney Opera House.

In 2015, Wendy also co-founded Working Arts Productions with longstanding GFO Executive Producer, Bernadette Hayes. Working Arts have created “Witches”, the meeting of Australia’s four leading ladies of “Wicked”, in a symphony concert featuring the songs of magic, persuasion and power.
July 2016 saw the world premier of “Witches” with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House.
