MANON GUNDERSON-BRIGGS

Manon has starred in Australian productions of Come From Away, Muriel’s Wedding the Musical and Shrek the Musical, and was recently seen in Kim Carpenter’s Inredibilia.

A graduate of AIM and NIDA, Manon most recently played “girl” in Kim Carpenter’s Incredibilia, prior to which she played Janice in the Australian Tour of Come From Away (New Theatricals).  She also played Gingy/Sugarplum in the Australian tour of Shrek The Musical (GFO), and Joanie Heslop in the Australian tour of Muriel’s Wedding The Musical (Global Creatures). Manon made her professional debut originating the role of Cheryl and understudying Rhonda in the world premiere of Muriel’s Wedding The Musical (STC/Global Creatures). She appeared in the ABC documentary Making Muriel and can be heard in the show’s official cast recording.

Her other credits include playing Hatchetface in the Sydney Theatre Award winning production of Cry Baby (LPD). Manon producers and hosts the Life On Tour podcast which celebrates the highs and lows of being a touring performer. She is also a lyre player and triathlete and is currently an ambassador for NSW Triathlon for the 2024/25 season.
