TYMYKA WINES

A proud Taungurung woman, Tymka is a passionate and versatile performer and recent graduate from VCA.

A fresh graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts, Tymyka (she/her) is bursting onto the scene a passionate and versatile performer. Her credits whilst studying at the VCA include; Heather Duke and Dance Captain in ‘Heathers’ (dir. Alister Smith), Meg in ‘Little Women’ (dir. Therésa Borg), ‘Elegies: A Song Cycle (dir. Tyran Parke), ‘Mongrel’ (dir. Maude Davey and Sarah Ward), and a featured soloist in ‘Morning Melodies (dir. Jayde Kirchert, dir. Tyran Parke) in 2022 and 2023 at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne. She also performed alongside her peers in the choir of ‘Chess: The Musical’ in 2021, at the Regent Theatre (Storeyboard Entertainment).

As a proud Taungurung woman, Tymyka feels honoured to be storytelling on land that holds stories of thousands of generations before her and is blessed to feel such a connection to her ancestors. Tymyka is a proud member of MEAA Actor’s Equity
