DOMINIC LUI

A graduate from Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Dominic is an emerging  talented singing actor and musician.

Dominic (he/him) graduated with a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2019. That same year, he debuted in the Ensemble of HMS Pinafore (Hayes Theatre Co) as a singing actor and violinist, later performing across regional and Sydney Festival seasons. Most recently, he returned to the Hayes Theatre in the world premiere of Metropolis (Little Eggs Collective).

Other performance credits include the Sailor in Dido and Aeneas (Other Theatre Company), backing vocalist for Patti Lupone’s Don’t Monkey with Broadway at Sydney Opera House, as well as Monostatos and First Armed Man in The Magic Flute and Peters in Kurt Weil’s Down in the Valley, which he performed as a young artist with Pacific Opera from 2019 to 2020.

Dominic recently performed as a violinist in the pit of Bonnie and Clyde (JRP/Hayes Theatre Co) and was commissioned to write and record vocal music for Sydney Opera House Contemporary Art as part of their digital series Returning.
