LISA CALLINGHAM

Lisa is a highly respected triple threat performer and experienced creative.

Lisa is a singer, dancer, actor and choreographer and has been performing professionally in Australia and overseas since she was 12. A highly respected “triple threat performer”,her professional musical theatre credits include National tours of The Rocky Horror Show, Jerry’s Girls, Hot Shoe Shuffle, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Oscar’s Turn to Sing, Dusty and What the World Needs Now. She starred in Kookaburra Productions’ Pippin as Fastrada, Hello Again as The Whore, and as Jenna in The Goodbye Girl at The Hayes Theatre

She played Maggie in the Australian tour of A Chorus Line, originated the role of Bonnie-Mae in Nick Enright and Max Lambert’s Miracle City for Sydney Theatre Company and was an original member of The Trio, Shena, in both the workshop and full productions of The Boy from Oz, she most recently played Millicent Winter in Nice Work if you Can Get It at The Hayes Theatre

Lisa has worked in all facets of the Australian entertainment industry. As a commercial dancer she has worked with Choreographers including Jason Gilkison, David Atkins and John O’Connell. Lisa was Assistant Choreographer to the late Ross Coleman over a 10 year period on a variety of major projects, television specials and events, including The Logies, World’s Greatest Dance Spectacular and the opening of Movieworld, Malaysia.

She was Associate Director/ Choreographer on Catch Me If You Can at the Hayes Theatre and choreographed the Boy From Oz 2020 Live from Lockdown video.

Most recently she Choreographed Anyone Can Whistle for Neglected Musicals and was Assistant Director/ Choreographer on Singin’ In The Rain In Concert for QPAC and Prospero Arts and Nice Work If You Can Get It for MGP and The Hayes Theatre.

Lisa has performed live with and recorded for artists such as Marcia Hines, Paulini, Paul Mac, Chrissie Amphlett, The Eurogliders, Rhonda Burchmore, Caroline O’Connor, Deni Hines and Christine Anu.
