MACKENZIE GARCIA

Mackenzie Garcia is a graduate of Elder Conservatorium’s Bachelor of Music Theatre and WAAPA’s Diploma of Music Theatre.

Mackenzie is a graduate of Elder Conservatorium’s Bachelor of Music Theatre degree, having previously completed a Diploma of Music Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She is currently performing as L’il Petey in CDP Theatre Producers’ Dog Man the Musical.

 

Notable roles from her time at ECMT include Cosette in Les Miserables (dir. Erin James), Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde (dir. Nikki Snelson), U/S Hope Cladwell and Ensemble in Urinetown (dir. George Torbay) and featured soloist in the Australian premiere of In Pieces: A New Musical.

 

Originally from Wollongong NSW, Mackenzie has performed in many theatre productions including Fran in Strictly Ballroom, Serena in Legally Blonde, Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods and Doreen in Hairspray.

 

Mackenzie is also a proud 2019 Talent Development Project graduate.

 

Other standout theatre credits include: Jane Banks in Disney & Cameron Mackintosh’s Australian/NZ tour of Mary Poppins and Dance Ensemble in L’Hotel at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
